2016 Feb Feast Auction Items

This year we are doing something a little different with the Feb Feast items. Our Plot team has offered to tailor plots to each auction item for anyone who wishes to participate.

Chinese Auction Items:

Bag is Magic locked at all times. Must be dispelled by non-owner. Owner does not need to dispel bag to open it.

Sword of the Mummy Lord

Elven Steel sword

Swings for Poison Curse or Elven Steel, Immune to Compulsion and poison. Any Mummy's (including Mummy Lords) are automatically controlled by you while wielding the sword. Cannot stack immunities.

 

 

Ato's Apparatus

Master staff/blade (You pick each February)

Casts Wraithbane. You can store up to twenty power points of Restoration. Permanently Spellstored. Every time you kill something with a killing blow, it stores a Heal Body (Cannot be dead already).

 

 

Eleos' Offhand

Dagger

Swings for Magic and can down call. When wielding in your offhand, the dagger hits for your max damage while the other melee weapon hits for plus one damage. Can break cap. Cannot use with shield of buckler.

Avatar's Gift

Fifth Level prismatic ring. Three times per game day, you can use a fifth level spell. Cannot repeat spell.

 

 

Ritualists' Table

Shield

Can do any Battle and Enchantment ritual once per game day. Casts with a special incant, and does not need components. SELF ONLY

Five no incant Dissipates. When dissipated while wearing the belt, you can toss a tag bag and move to where the tag bag (or glow stick at night) fell. While moving to that location, you are still considered to be dissipated. You must drop your dissipate before moving again and recasting.

Casts Reap spirit 5/gd. The necklace can hold a spark that does not count as you holding a spark. Whenever you Reap Spirit, you gain two additional Magic Power points that break cap, to a maximum of 10 power points.

Reflects the first two physical attacks per game day. Casts Aura of Reflection twice per game day. Count as 4 points monstrous armor

Presuming you've got melee master, it would let you swing for 5 mainhand and 4 with the dagger.

Can you fill up the gong's MP on 5 saturday morning orcs in a row, casting reap spirit to function as the killing blow, or are the last 3 reap spirits wasted, since i would only be able to hold onto the first 2 sparks? I guess the question is if the reaps can all happen at once, or if it's still limited by your hourly limit of how many sparks you can hold (2/hour for a regular person)?

 

Alternatively, can the gong's MP be filled up by reaping 5 undead (which don't have full sparks to begin with)?

Concerning the Blink Belt: If you throw the light stick such that you cannot find it. I assume that you may not go looking for it.

 

Unless you must go looking for it until you find it. Like you get lost in the aether essentially banishing yourself until you find the exit to your ghostly prison or until your sentence has ended.

Gong:

 

The gong doesn't talk about "Holding a new spark" it says "Reaps Spirit"

 

It's basically 10 power for killing things.

 

 

Blink belt:

 

The point of a glowstick at night is so you can find it. I think if you can't find it, you keep looking until you do or 10 minutes has passed, and after 10 minutes you pop back to where you started.

I think the confusion on our part is because we thought that you couldn't cast reap spirit if you were already holding a spark because you wouldn't have "room" to hold another spark, with the exception of undead.

Does this mean pick one or the other? If so, how often can you switch?

Bensons:

From Reap Spirit

...If the caster already holds a spark from a previous Reap Spirit. The spell will cause a Killing Blow on the target, but the spark will not be removed and the target is still able to be healed...

 

Yes, using it to KB would still give you power.

 

 

 

 

Regulus:

It means you're immune to those two things, and nothing else. No battle mastery, No Primal Form, etc.

The shield just does the two normal and the master rituals, i believe.

 

The certs that affect current items turn them into FF items.

Can crafting points be stacked here? Could "Scroll of 40 Point Item" + "Larp Essential Gift Cert with 40 craft Points"= 80 craft point cloak?

Maybe, yeah? sure?

 

I mean effectively I don't see the difference between a 40 point cloak and a 40 point pair of socks, so why not an 80 point cloak?

Question about the plot with item, will we be given a personal plot attached to the item or will the item be sent to us in game and obtained by completing said plot. Also if the item we purchase relates to the said buyers character can we incorporate the items plot into ones blog? Basically will the player be involved in the making or ideas of the given plot?

Ato's Apparatus:

If a master healer is using this and stores a revive into it, does it count as 4pts of power stored, or 5?

Spells count as their normal spell level, so a 5th level spell is a 5th level spell regardless of its source.

A few more questions about Ato's Apparatus:

Is spellstore needed to store the Restoration spells into the weapon, or does the FF qualities of the weapon not require spellstore?

If the user attempts to store a Restoration spell into the weapon when it is full, will the spell fizzle?

Imagine a weapon.

 

Put spellstore on that weapon, it can now hold a spell.

 

Now imagine instead of "one spell" the limit was "20 power"

 

Add to that limitation that they're restoration spells only.

 

Consider that if it's full of resto spells and you want to jam another revive in there, you could like, expend the spells.

What the hell are the battle and enchantment rituals that the Ritualists' Table lets me cast for free once a day on myself?

 

Battle

Cripple

 

Lets Caster cast the spell Mana Burn (2 power = 2 darts that each remove 4 power from the target, as though the target had cast a spell) Cannot gain this power back in any way until convergence.

 

 

Battle

Wither

 

Target can only deal 1 damage per attack.

 

Battle

Twincast

 

All Battle magic spells produce twice the number of darts for caster.

 

 

Enchantment

Ritual of the Craftsman’s Raiment

 

This ritual enchants the gear of target player. The targets armor gains enhance armor and ablative armor. Their shield gains enchant shield. Their weapons gain (up to three) Wraithbane. The spell effects are as normal, expiring at convergence, when dispelled or when expended.

Disenchant

 

Choose a school of magic. The magic item breaks down into a number of ritual items of that school divided by 25(Round Down.) Take the item(s) to logistics and exchange for your ritual components.

Ritual: Metamorphosis

 

Choose one of the following; Silver, Goblin Iron, or Elven Steel. For the duration of the event, the weapon is no longer its original material and now just the chosen type. If the weapon is made of multiple materials, this effect overwrites them all.

 

Some of these would be a little silly on yourself.

 

Let's say once a day with normal ritual targeting rules. So the target has to be willing or unable to resist

Question about Medusas so normal stuns if the target get hits the compulsion breaks correct? So if the petrify can only go away with disenchant does that mean I can Petrify something and then just beat it to death without breaking the stun?

Petrify is a 5th level spell

it freezes the target in place

they are immune to damage and can't be interacted with.

 

You can't kill or loot a petrified person.
