Funny Story

Recommended Posts

So today, I had a very interesting moment with a Soldier on Fort Drum. He was from Ghana originally and was showing me a picture of his Tattoo. I surprised him by actually knowing what his tattoo meant in his culture, it lead to an instant connection and friendship due to the fact he'd never seen an American, especially a white guy know about his culture. The interesting thing was I started to research into Ghana because of the LARP. When I was painting my armor and designing Kiba's symbol, I ended up using a Ghana symbol that means "Death of God" on my armor. The interesting thing was as I researched the meaning and significance of the symbol, I began researching many other symbols used in Ghana. So all in all, had I not been into LARPing, I may have never had this opportunity to form a bond with a Soldier in such a unique way. So...Thanks KON
