Dren Ollevres 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 I was going to post a few of my favorites from this list, but hell.... here's the whole thing. Some pages are lame, some I've seen before, but others are pretty damn cool: 100 Websites to see before you die.

Kender 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2011 Uh, Urban Dictionary? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=refreshive%20compulsive%20disorder%20(RCD) refreshive compulsive disorder (RCD) Condition characterized by the recurrent, obsessive need to refresh one's browser in the hopes of revealing new comments, accolades or validation regarding a Facebook status, link or photo posting. Zoe's refreshive compulsive disorder (RCD) became debilitating when, four minutes after posting on Facebook, she had received no comments on the adorable photos of her kids. also: GUILTY! Dren Ollevres 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 http://www.rockmelt.com/ (based on Chrome architecture) I just found a replacement for Firefox. No lie. It's painful at first (in that it integrates with Facebook) and requires several setting tweaks to disable notifications and bullshit... but holy crap the right-pane "app bar" is incredible. These forums are the ONLY page i've had to visit..... all day. It has all my daily comics, wired/cracked articles, photoblogs, FB updates, and everything I use daily in one cool location that can be instantly hidden via CTRL+SHIFT \ It even integrates with google and youtube (search & videos via side-panel), instant messaging services, ...etc. (it also works with Chrome's Ad Block) If you're not keen on FB, it could be annoying, but I use it for everything now. Notch's blog, dwarf fortress updates, etc, all within a mouse-over event when they're updated rather than having to visit each page. Love it. I call it Chrome++

Kender 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 This is pretty much the neatest thing I've seen in awhile. They let you put together a 3d shape, and print it in a number of materials. Super cool, if you ask me. Vaguely expensive, but you gotta pay for custom things. http://www.shapeways.com/

Vicious the Jester 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2011 This reminds me, if one of the Photoshop geniuses around here wants a challenge, I could really use a picture of a Ford Festiva made up to look kinda like a ninja, with a group of ninjas behind it, looking like they're either "considering it" or "backing it up" as part of their "gang". It's an inside joke here at Xerox. I'd be willing to explain it, but it would require a lot of quotes and wouldn't be as funny if you haven't seen it.
