Interesting. Those links were fine on my PC last night, but definitely wrong on my phone now...

I have a little bit left, you can have that before you order any.

Hey Dave,

I'm guessing you've ordered from this site before, so I feel better about it, but I just went to order the gold iron cross trim for Pat and the ordering process raised some red flags for me. It said it would send me an email to get my pay pal payment, or if I wanted to pay be credit card, they'd send me a phone number to call? I just kinda got skeeved out a bit by it and was looking for a little reassurance that this place is on the up and up before giving them my account info via email. blink.gif I'm sure it's fine and I just get way to much suspicious activity training at work... I hope.

Calontir trim is 100% legit. He sells a lot at SCA events all over the country as his main business, so this is how he handles web orders. If he's going to be out of town for a week for a war, he just doesn't answer emails until he gets back, so people don't pay money then wonder why their stuff hasn't shipped yet.

Lots of SCA vendors operate this way. They all know each other - at least by reputation - so it's no big deal.

I've been ordering from Calontir trim for years.

Oh, and I highly recommend these trims for Legion folks: http://www.calontirtrim.com/asp-cgi/dqryPublicOneTrimName.asp?[RequestTrim]=Fretted+Cross

They're fairly cheap, look great, easy to work with because they're only 1" wide, are reversible (so the white with black crosses one can also be black with white crosses), and come in a variety of colors. Two thumbs up, buy lots.

Click the "insert link button", insert the link and then name it something else. I'm guessing there are characters in the URL that are throwing things off.

Also, to confirm: five yards per tunic to do hem, sleeves and neckline. Not an inch left over.

Does anyone have any extra trim? We won't be able to order it until this Friday and I'm worried that it is cutting it a bit close.

I have some extra: five yards of gold and ten yards of silver. I'll part with it for cost plus a buck shipping.

We'll take it. We'll get it off you at Novitas this weekend.

Phil, will you happen to have any spare trim from those 15 yards, or will you be tapped out? I'm considering building a tabard.
