Tinkerer item

I was thinking about it and I was wondering if there would be a way for a tinker at level 5 to be able to make an unbreakable lock. Imo I would say it would cost an extra coin a level and it would beade pf elvin steel and then also need I believe it is a shadowskin potion that allows someone to not take cettain damage. Just an idea to toss out around the circle...

Locks can't be broken. They need to be picked. An unpickable lock isn't going to happen. It's a spell; "Magic Lock" and it can be dispelled.

Locks can be picked, or taken out with alchemical Explosive Charge. But I dont think anyone even makes that in mass anymore.

 

I dont think there are any rules saying you cant both lock and magic lock something though. But thats still a bit costly. Finding an tinkerer and then 20 coin at base to bring a lock into play and 1 power every time you want to lock the box. I would amuse digging a hole in the woods and burying it would be a much simpler and actually safer way of doing things.
