Airbrushing Shields?

Recommended Posts

So I have a Testors airbrush, that has basically been collecting dust, and an unopened set of airbrush-ready fabric paints. So I got to thinking....

Badger sells canned airbrush propellant, and if I could get some sort of stencil made, I could blast iron crosses on shield covers, etc in literally a matter of seconds. If I could find the right artist, and the right material, I could even have multiple stencils, to do trim etc.

I was thinking of getting an 18"x18", possibly even a 12"x12" stencil. Or any size, really.

Has anyone else tried something like this? Is this idea a yay or nay?
