Salami Jones 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2012 10.8 Weapons crafted from special materials do not need to be identified in order to access their damage requirement as their properties are readily apparent. Is this still in effect? I've heard (and repeated) the contrary several times since I have been here. Usually this is more immediately relevant when an NPC loots a weapon from a PC and wields it.
