Apparently this is my new hobby when I've insomnia.

Silver plated Japanese 6 in 1 bracelet. I finished it about 20 minutes ago.

Also I can't seem to get my camera to render decent pictures at close range. Either that or the blurriness is due to a bad combination of camera flash and florescent light in my desk lamp.

Beautiful bracers...

Thumbs of various pics of the drake mask I made for Novitas; I just screenied my facebook album.
Hoping for critiques as the larp I attended before this was not nearly as involved on the costuming, and since it
said Drakes had "very difficult" on their costume requirements, I want to make sure this is acceptable. :)

The bottom jaw is a seperate piece, and yes it does move when I talk :)

No, I will not be wearing the old-lady shawl over my head, it'll be a black hood. The ugly orange shawl was just the nearest
thing I could get my hands on :)

First three images: just the plastiform mold.
Next four images: after the rubbercoating. You could chuck it down a hallway and it'd bounce, lol.
Last images; finished product.

From start to finish, whole thing only cost about $25.

EDIT: Link for full sized image: http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e116/lma...maskprocess.jpg

Looks good to me Lauren. Are you wearing it over glasses?

Yes I made the mask specifically to fit over my glasses comfortably without leaving them room to wiggle around. :)

Nice!

Have you tried running around in it for a while? Every time I tried to wear my glasses under a mask I had buku fogging issues.

The mask looks great. :)

I've been working on a Spangenhelm in my metal forging class. It's gotten to a point where it's recognizable now. I'm considering putting it up for sale. If I do, it'll have brass rivets (replacing the bolts that are holding it together temporarily). If I decide to keep it, it'll get copper rivets. I need to start putting rivets in on Monday, so I'll have to decide by then.
If I were to sell it, it would go for $100. It'll get cleaned up (buffed and polished) before then though.

LOL that is so awesome. I frequent the female SCA boards where Isabella posts often. I have her photobucket account favorited and I saw her concept art for this banner and went "wow that would be perfect for the Legion, I wonder whose getting that?"

It looks great, can't wait to see that waving in the wind behind you guys.

How much does she charge for such a thing? I'd love to get something like that for Winterfell.

My very first project complete!
I used Dave H's leatherworking tutorial to make a frog for Vany'a, when she finally gets her butt back to Pinedale.
The gorgeous belt in the last photo, which the frog was made to match (sort of) was made by Phil. =3
Seems silly to show off a frog, but it's my first self-made piece and I'm proud of it. ^_^
