Incogneato 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2017 I know this is a logistical nightmare, but damn- wouldn't that be awesome? 5-7 days of KoN. Maybe with a dungeon crawl, a few all-PC shifts and a boss battle or two?? A kid can dream...
Warblade 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2017 Dreams are meant to be crushed by adulthood...but I will second it...again, no expectations.
Provolonely 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2017 As long as it was in summer time I'd love a week long event.
Lady Vinyl 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2017 As long as it is not THIS summer, I'd be up for it. BUT, as Warblade says, adulthood, you know?? As for the dungeon crawl. . . it is, to my understanding, that these used to exist (I know Phil and a few others have some really cool stories which I got to hear at Novitas New Year). So, those are not out of the realm of possibilities, BUT there was a large building (I believe they said it was a barn or warehouse, maybe?) on one of the previous properties. We're still getting used to what's already here at Hoover. I think that if we just give them some time (and keep dropping hints of interest in their ear, like this post) something like that MAY eventually happen. Maybe. hivemind 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2017 I would suggest that if you really like the people at KoN, come to Ragnarok. If you really like the atmosphere of KoN, come to Pennsic. I'd be happy to talk to anyone who wants to go to either one. Beyond that, let's see how this October's event goes. It will be a 3-day event.

So in the event of the 3 day event, about how many shifts would be happening?
hivemind 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2017 So in the event of the 3 day event, about how many shifts would be happening? Probably three more than usual - a full day on Sunday, and cleanup on Monday. I will tell everyone right now, our willingness to do this again will heavily depend on how much assistance we get on Monday doing cleanup. If there's a mass exodus off-site Sunday night, it's unlikely we'll repeat it. Also, before it comes up, we don't plan right now to increase the site fee for the extra day - but people should definitely play to shoulder some of the food cost burden. Have an in-character dinner party one night, do a picnic in the afternoon, whatever - just don't come to the Inn for three meals a day for three days, or we'll run outta food fast. Lady Vinyl 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2017 Yeah, the heads up now will help a bunch of us plan for time off. I'm not sure if my wife will be able to stick around, but I'll definitely stay.
